Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Paaket Games ("we", "us") about our games and our websites. By downloading or playing one of our games, or using our websites, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not play. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Which games these terms cover
These terms apply to our websites and to every game we publish that has no terms of its own:
- Sweet Trail has its own Terms of Service, shown in the game and at sweettrail.paaket.com/terms. They apply to Sweet Trail instead of these terms.
- Echoes of the Ancestors is in development.
- When we release a new game without terms of its own, these terms apply to it, and we add it to this list.
In these terms, "the game" means whichever of our games you are playing.
2. Who can play
Anyone can play our games. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please read these terms with a parent or guardian, and ask them before you buy anything.
3. Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to download our games and play them on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. Our games and everything in them, including their art, music, characters, levels and code, belong to us or to our licensors. Apart from this licence, you get no rights in them.
4. Your progress and your account
Our games save your progress on your device. In games with online features, a copy is also kept on our server as a backup, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Where a game offers an account, you can create one with your e-mail address and a password, which keeps your progress so you can continue on another device. Please use an address you control and keep your password secret; you are responsible for what happens under your account. If you have not created an account and you uninstall the game, reset your device or lose it, your progress may be lost, and we may not be able to restore it.
Deleting your data, in the game's privacy settings or by asking us, removes your progress and your purchases for good.
5. Coins, boosters and other virtual items
Coins, boosters, lives and the other items in our games are virtual items. You get a limited licence to use them in the game; you do not own them. They have no value outside the game. They cannot be exchanged for real money, goods or services, and they cannot be sold, traded or moved to another account or game, except where the law requires otherwise.
We may change how virtual items work, including their prices, what they do and how you earn them. We will not take away items you have bought without a good reason, such as a refund, the correction of an error or a serious breach of these terms.
6. Purchases
- Real-money purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. The store charges you and handles refunds, so please send refund requests to the store.
- The price is shown in the game before you buy.
- Items are delivered once your purchase has been confirmed. If something you bought does not arrive, contact us with the game's name, your player ID if the game shows one, and the store's receipt, and we will help.
- Items such as coins and boosters are used up as you play. One-time purchases, such as switching off ads, can be brought back on a new device with the same store account, using the game's option to restore purchases.
- If you live in the EU or the UK: digital items are delivered straight away. By buying, you ask for immediate delivery and accept that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once delivery has started. Your other legal rights are not affected.
7. Ads and rewards
Some of our games show ads from third-party ad networks, as described in the Privacy Policy. Rewarded ads are optional: the reward is given once the ad has finished, and a game may limit how many you can watch each day. Some games also show occasional full-screen ads at natural breaks, such as after a level. Ads come from third parties, and we are not responsible for the products or content they advertise.
8. Playing fair
When you play, please do not:
- cheat, hack or modify a game or your save, or use tools, bots or scripts to play for you or to get items;
- exploit bugs to gain an advantage (if you find one, please tell us);
- interfere with our servers, overload them, or try to get into accounts, systems or data that are not yours;
- copy, decompile or reverse-engineer our games, except where the law allows it;
- use our games for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms other players or us;
- choose a profile name that is offensive, pretends to be someone else or includes personal information such as a phone number;
- use a profile photo that breaks the photo rules below, or that you don't have the right to use.
Photo rules. In games that let you use your own photo, other players can see it, so it must be friendly for everyone. It must not show nudity, underwear or sexual content; violence, blood or weapons; self-harm; drugs or drug use; hate symbols or rude gestures; readable personal details, such as a phone number, an address, a username, a link or a QR code; or a child as the main subject. Only use a photo you took yourself or have permission to use. Photos are checked automatically before other players see them, and players can report photos.
If you break these rules, we may reset or remove your event scores and leaderboard entries, remove items gained unfairly, remove your profile photo or stop you using photos, or suspend or end your access to the online features. Where we can, we will act in proportion and tell you why.
9. Events and leaderboards
Events run for a limited time, and each event's rules are shown in the game. Leaderboards show other players' scores and ranks, with the names and pictures the game shows for them. We may correct results that are wrong or that come from a breach of these terms. Event rewards are virtual items and have no cash value.
10. Our websites
You may use our websites to learn about our games and to get help with them. Please do not copy our art, logos or text for use elsewhere without our permission, or try to break, overload or scrape our websites. Our websites link to sites we don't control, such as the app stores, and those sites' own terms apply there.
11. Changes, updates and availability
We keep working on our games. We may add, change or remove features, levels, events and items, and you may need to install updates to keep playing, especially the online features. The online features need an internet connection and may sometimes be unavailable.
We may stop offering a game or its online features, but we will try to give reasonable notice in the game first. If the online features end, the parts of the game that work offline stay playable on your device for as long as the stores and your device allow.
12. Ending these terms
You can stop playing at any time and ask for your data to be deleted. We may end or suspend your licence, or your access to the online features, if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires us to. When these terms end, your licence to the game and to its virtual items ends too. Sections 5, 13, 14 and 16 keep applying after that.
13. Our games are provided "as is"
We want our games to be fun and to work well, but they are provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we do not promise that they will always be available, free of errors or suitable for a particular purpose. If you are a consumer, this does not affect your legal rights, including your rights if digital content is faulty.
14. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, as far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for lost progress or virtual items, or for business losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for purchases in the game concerned in the 12 months before the claim arose.
15. Apple and Google
If you downloaded the game from the App Store:
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the game and its content.
- Your licence lets you use the game on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the game.
- If the game fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the game, if any. As far as the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the game.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims about the game or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the game fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection or similar laws.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging any claim that the game or your use of it infringes someone else's intellectual property rights.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that the U.S. Government has designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must also follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the game, such as your mobile data agreement.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and once you accept them, Apple may enforce them against you.
If you downloaded the game from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply, and Google is not responsible for the game.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there. Please contact us first: most problems can be solved quickly and informally.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our games or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will tell you in our games or on this page before it takes effect. If you keep playing after that, the updated terms apply; if you do not agree with them, please stop playing and ask for your data to be deleted.
